One of the ugliest sides of exploring weight loss is observing your own self hate. And with all the cruel judgments that people make about weight, it's amazing we aren't all bulimic. More amazing still is the almost universal belief that we can change our weight if we try. Try what? Try using will power to override our natural urges? This is like using will power on diarrhea.

This said, in this first week, you'll explore your thoughts about people's weight, including your own. Please do your best to be honest, while trying not to blame yourself for whatever you've done. Or not done.
