The Progression of "Healthy Learning"

What you see above is the progression of a healthy learning experience. As you can see, this progression begins with [1] experiencing the information. Please note that regardless of information's content, it will always be in the form of equal quantities each of mental and emotional information.

In the second part of the progression then, [2] the person assigns a meaning to this information, and the greater the possible meaning available, the more conscious the learning.

Finally, in the third and final part of the progression of healthy learning, [3] the person assigns a time reference to this information.

The Progression of "Wounded Learning"

When "wounded" learning occurs, the progression is exactly the opposite. Here, the progression begins with [1] a loss of access to the time reference, resulting in either a severely limited time reference (a "baby time" reference, meaning, it creates the experience of a "pain which lasts forever") or a complete lack of a time reference (no time reference, meaning, it creates the experience of free floating pain, a pain which seems ever present but which seems to come from nowhere).

Next in the progression comes [2] the severe loss of access to the meaning of the information. This loss can take two forms also; either the experience of there being only one possible meaning, a meaning which is painful, or the experience of the complete absence of a meaning, the profoundly painful experience which in extreme cases, is at the heart of suicidal urges.

Finally, if the BLock reaches this level of severity, [3] even the person's access to the information becomes skewed, again, in two possible ways; one, the experience of two much rapidly changing information (the "flooding" experience) or the complete loss of access to the information (the "it never happened to me" or "blank page" experience.)
