As you can see, taking away the big red circle left the little red circle. But is this the "hole?" Not really. Why not? Because holes do not necessarily have black lines around them. So we need to take way the black line. What would we be left with then? To see, take a look at the first example above.
As you can see, taking away the black line got us closer to knowing what a hole is. Even so, do all holes have colors in them? Of course not. So what would happen if we removed these colors? Let’s see.
