Understanding Holes 3
As you can see, taking away color left us with something difficult to define. It left us with the "hole" So what is my point?
Holes do not exist in the physical world. They exist only in the non physical world. Now go slow. This idea is really difficult to grasp. Why? Because we humans define everything in our world by what we can see. Including holes. Now consider what this means.
It means that in order for us to know an idea, we need to know it both physically and non physically. Or to use the word many scientists hate, we need to know it physically and "spiritually."
So what makes scientists hate the word, "spiritual." Only one thing. "Spiritual" things cannot be seen nor measured. They can only be known by what is around them.
Now consider what I've just said, and how it applies to things which science does believe in, say geometry. In fact, let’s consider something very basic to geometry, the idea of a square.
Do "squares" really exist? Well let’s see. We'll start with a good old red colored medium sized square, you know, the kind math teachers show us when we are in Tenth Grade.
