Week 1 Evening Exercises - 91 Days of Conscious Eating

The daily focus in this first week will be on attitudes and weight. What do you think about fat people? Do you see yourself as fat? Know that when I first journaled this myself, my heart was breaking for my brother-in-law who had been struggling for years with his weight. Seeing him repeatedly eat next to nothing, all the while losing next to no weight, changed my previously judgmental attitudes.

He died a few years after this, during a routine hip replacement. The anesthesiologist misjudged his weight ratio and he never woke up. Know I cried for weeks afterwards. He was one of the most intelligent, sane men I've ever known.

He was well over 400 pounds when he died.
